Sometimes it pays back to gives its music for free.

I never sold anything on-line but I was recently offered a great reward :)

This year I entered the Free ! Music ! Contest for the second time and even if my track didn’t win, there were a couple of additional prizes that have been offered between all participants just for saying “thanks” for beeing ready to release the music cc-by or cc-by-sa. And I was one of the lucky winners.

So here is what I got, a new keyboard ! :

The Pum’S are an indietronic band formed in 2009. The group consists of two permanent members :

- Singer-songwriter and guitarist Adeline, french, born in 1993 and living in France.

- Composer, arranger and record producer DoosC, french, born in 1979 and living in Luxembourg.

The band features songs with lyrics either in french or english and cleverly blends acoustic guitar with electronic sounds to produce a unique and personal style.

The Pum’s - Le Pays des Reves by DoosC

This album is kind of a best-of of some tracks I composed beetween 2000 and 2002.

At the time I was still running a windows desktop, and most of the work has been done with Impulse Tracker 2 and with the effects capabilities of a SB AWE 64 Gold.

Samples are either from the Mod Archive, commercial samples CDs, or self recorded using cheap hardware.
